1. General Policy

All payments made to Legally Married Online are for time, service, and legal document processing. Because each wedding involves scheduling officiants and initiating paperwork, refunds are limited once work has begun on your application or ceremony.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a partial or full refund under the following circumstances:

  • Full Refund:
    • If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and before any document or meeting scheduling begins.
    • If your marriage process cannot proceed due to an internal issue or error on our part.
  • Partial Refund:
    • If cancellation is requested after the initial setup but before the ceremony has been conducted.
    • The refund amount will be calculated after deducting administrative, officiant scheduling, and processing fees.
  • No Refund:
    • After your online marriage application has been submitted to the Utah County system.
    • Once your ceremony has been conducted.
    • If documentation or certificate delivery is delayed due to government or postal processing.

3. Rescheduling Instead of Canceling

If you wish to change your ceremony date or time, we offer one free reschedule (with 48-hour notice). Additional changes may incur a small administrative fee.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Send an email to support@legallymarriedonline.com with your booking details and reason for cancellation.
  2. Our support team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
  3. Approved refunds will be issued back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Government or third-party processing fees
  • Apostille or mailing services already initiated
  • Optional upgrades such as rush processing or certificate customization
